There are many ways. But take care. Youtube can ban you and if you are banned they quit also your google account.
0.- Make good quality videos
1.- Promote your video in the first 24 hours as soon as you published it
Promotions sites.
Publish in facebook groups that are about your topic
2.- Subscribe to top channels with millions of subscribers and set the bell on.
As soon as they publish a video set a comment indicating…”Thanks for your video. It is very inspiring for me and my channel. I always follow you” Thinks like that… But try to seem to be human.. because Youtube can ban you if it considers span or if someone reports you as spam
3.- Promote it in many other places like LinkedIn, google plus, Reddit (again . take care with reddit. contribute in the community to not be banned)
Those are free.. you also can pay in Facebook ads or google adwords
Answer questions in quora with your videos.
4.- Publish videos frequently.
5.- Have a channel about a topic. If all your videos have a common keyword on it they will be stronger
6. – Use hashtags at the end of your description (no more than 15) It is a new feature and are few videos using it.
7.- Make videos with similar keywords than other successful videos. That practice will make them appear as suggested video at the right of the success one. That is more important than searches
8. Use long tail titles, Research which long questions are not answered and make a video about that
9. Add captions to your videos. The captions should match the keywords
